In today’s tech age, everything is becoming digital. In such an environment, a physics professor has designed a humanoid robot to teach students in the state of Karnataka. The name of this robot is known as ‘Siksha’.
The way students are taught has completely changed nowadays. And after the spread of corona virus, teachers are using technology in a smart way to teach lessons. In this context, Professor Akshay Mashelkar, who lives in Sirsi district of Karnataka, has given life to this robot.
It is reported that Siksha is currently working on teaching primary school children in an innovative way. You can take lessons up to the fourth standard. This robot is presented in a simple form wearing a uniform like a government school girl.
“I felt that online teaching method was not interactive. So I designed this robot. It is not a robot designed with sophisticated technology. It is designed to bridge the academic gap between rural students,” says Prof. Akshay.
