New Delhi: Taapsee Upadhyay, a 21-year-old B.Tech graduate, has ventured into the industry with the aim of providing it to food lovers who like to buy and eat pani puri in a hygienic manner. A video of this young graduate selling pani puri has garnered attention on social media.
Tapsi’s pani puri shop is just one of the lakhs of pani puri shops operating along the busy roads of Delhi. His video was shared on Instagram. He explains about his efforts in it. The very beginning of the video begins with the scene of him driving the bullet cart. A small cart for the pani puri shop is attached to its back.
“I have started this with the aim of providing pani puri in a healthy manner. Seeing my effort, many people spoke in various ways. They said, ‘You, a girl child, go home and stay safe, why do you have this job when you are educated?’ I didn’t notice that. Ignore what this community says. I continued my business. This is the career I have chosen,” he shares his experience in the video.
He is selling pani puri near Tilak Nagar metro station, Delhi. Many people who have seen this video of around 59 seconds are appreciating Taapsee’s effort. Most of the comments were ‘super, great effort, congrats sister’.
